Hello everyone,
My name is Ana, and PhD student at Cognitive Neurolab (UOC) currently conducting research on brain function, cognitive control, and mental health, with a particular focus on depression. I have a background in neuroscience, and I am passionate about understanding the complexities of the human brain and how different brain areas contribute to cognition and mental health.

At present, I am investigating the role of the prefrontal cortex in cognitive control in depressed patients. My research combines non-invasive brain stimulation techniques, such as HD-tDCS, with neuroimaging methods like functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) to study brain activity.
